The itinerary starts from the Vigezzina - Centovallina station in Trontano, reaches the area of mills and climbs up on the slope of the mountain passing by Rio Graglia.
The mule track winds up among the woods reaching the Briasca Cross, then the slope gets milder and meets Briasca alp: a natural amphitheatre where the landscape on the surrounding mountains can be enjoyed.
The trail then goes up towards an abandoned alp with some lodges and the characteristic pasture, from this point the trail is barely visible and not marked (at the time this text is written, June 2021), following the scarce tracks it reaches the pastures of Noccola alp. Here the sight goes around 360° on the mountains of Ossola and Val Grande. The itinerary proceeds downwards to Campo alp, Parpinasca lodge and Faievo alp.
