The ancient vine plantations left many structures and infrastructures on the territory: from the amazing terracings made with dry stone walls, that could mitigate the changes in temperature, to the cobblestone roads and mule tracks made for carts, to the clever wine presses used by the whole community, which could provide a large amount of must with their system of weights and levers.
With this collection ITINERARIUM would like to tell how the ancient culture of wine has industriously changed the landscapes that we cross today, from the blooming and mild hills of Novara, with their production of seven DOC and DOCG labels, to the terraced hills of the valleys of Ossola with the ancient variety of the Prünent.
