This ring trails goes along the lake, covering the whole cyclopedonal track that connects, through Barabbia swamp, the Varese lake.
Lake Comabbio is an important natural oasis, rich in rare floating plants, where many species of ducks and other water birds build their nests.
The trail follows the asphalt road, with short passages on dirt road. It crosses the Berrini park in Ternate and the Corgeno park, with many nice passages on wooden bridges an on a long boardwalk on the water where, in blooming season, a large expanse of water plants can be seen.

WE INFORM THAT THE BOARDWALK ON THE WATER IN THE TOWN OF COMABBIO IS CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE! Therefore a deviation is needed to Via Per Ternate - Via Bernasc - Via Sotto Campagna.
